Lamar Odom is a former American professional basketball player who also doubles as a reality TV personality. The basketball star was born Lamar Joseph Odom on 6, November 1979 in South Jamaica, New York, United States.

Lamar lost his mother to cancer at a tender age and his grandmother raised him. The young Odom did not finish high school due to poor grades. He was good at games and he decided to become a professional basketball player.  Lamar earned more fame when he married Khloe Kardashian in 2009, with whom they had a reality TV show.

However, the couples had differences along the way and they eventually divorced in 2016. He has three children from a previous marriage and no child with Khloe. Odom has been struggling with drug addiction and health issues after separating from Khloe.

Lamar started playing basketball as a professional in high school. His career picked in 1999 when he joined Los Angeles Clippers. However, the team did not include him in most of its matches due to drug abuse. He later joined Miami Heat where he was allowed to shine.

Odom joined Los Angeles Lakers in 2004 where he won most of the games. Lamar played for Dallas between 2011 and 2012. Other major teams that Lamar played for include the New York Knicks and Lаbоrаl Кutха Ваѕkоnіа.  He has won NBA champions twice and he has several awards under his name.
