Jocko Willink Net Worth = $5 Million

Jocko Willink is a beast of a man! He is a retired Navy Seal veteran who uses his experiences to teach people how to be better leaders. Most people have heard of him from his book Extreme Ownership. The book is designed to get all members of a team to be leaders by taking ownership of everything that happens in life

Jocko approaches life in a very no-nonsense sort of way. He is not writing books to make you feel great about yourself. He is focused on producing results, and he does that by helping you to face the truth. Jocko also has a podcast, a consulting business, gym ownership, and he runs his conference.

When it comes to building excellent habits, it does not get more hardcore than Jocko Willink. He is dead set on finding out how hard he can push himself. After retiring from the Navy Seal, he quickly could have taken time to relax and enjoy life, and no one would have faulted. Jocko gets up every morning, ready to learn and prove that he has more in him.

Jocko Willink Net Worth and Key Habits

#1 -Wake Up Early

Jocko Willink is infamous for getting up before 5:00 AM. No excuses. No Snooze. He starts his day at the same time every single day. He does not sleep in on weekends. He kicks his day off with a workout, so his days start as hard as possible. None of this is typical.

Jocko believes that getting up early helps you to be up and working before the competition. As a Navy Seal, they always had to be ready for an attack, and he has carried that through his life. He is not waiting for something terrible to happen to get ready. Instead, he stays prepared, and getting up early helps him to do that.

Habit #2 - Push Your Limits

Jocko is well known for doing Jujitsu and working out multiple times in a day. It's not because he wants to work out but because he is in love with pushing himself.

He wants to see how strong, fast, smart, flexible, and though he can be. He is not looking to get by every day with the bare minimum. He wants to challenge the idea of there being any limits at all.

There is always a reason to skip what you need to do. You can be too tired, hungry, drained, hot, cold, or whatever another excuse you can make. Jocko does not care! He shows up every day and puts in the work because he wants to challenge himself to be better in every way.

Jock Willink starts off the book Extreme Ownership by telling a story about a Navy Seal experiment that went wrong. There was a friendly fire in a mission which is where you end up shooting at your people.

He had to explain to his higher-ups what had gone wrong. He took full ownership of the evil mission because he was responsible. Even though he was not out there, he saw it as a sign of bad leadership.

The philosophy is easy to understand but hard to do. It's easy to blame others for everything in life but when you blame you lose the power. You can't change others, but if you take ownership, there is always something you can change.

It's not about being a victim or not is about doing what you need to do to put your life in a better place. He gives a countless example of how taking ownership creates better leaders and teams.
