He became a producer in 1996 when he wrote, acted, and produced "Swingers." Jon became a film director in 2001, whereby he directed a film called "Made." Other films that Favreau has produced and directed include "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "The Jungle Book," and "The Big Empty" among others.

He has also acted, produced, and directed various TV shows. For instance, Jon created and hosted a TV show called "Dinner for Five" from 2001 to 2005. He also featured in other shows like "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" "Friends," among others.
