These are some great quotes you can use to never lose hope on those days when you just want to throw in the towel. Keep in mind the purpose of quotes as you read them.

Quotes do not make you; they only give you the motivation to keep working on making you! It's about overriding your feelings to keep pressing forward.

Maybe you got hit with an unexpected setback and now you don't want to follow through on your daily habits. You feel it's pointless because you just keep failing.

These are the moments that champions are made. Most people quit in the valley and it's understandable why. Those who do great things, fight there way out of the valley. They never lose hope and they stop making excuses.

If you keep moving forward you will eventually get there. It does not matter how hard or it is or how long it will take. Reaching the destination will be fulfilling.

Never Lose Hope Quotes

1. “By perseverance, the snail reached the ark" -Charles H. Spurgeon

Noah had to collect two of every kind before the ark could leave. That means that the snail had to make its way there. Picture that snail being all the way across town and setting the goal of getting to the destination.

That may be your life right now. You have a destination but getting there is not going as fast as you would like.

Sometimes what matters is that you get there. Most snails probably just gave up and figured the Ark would leave without them.

If you keep moving forward you will eventually get there. It does not matter how hard or it is or how long it will take. Reaching the destination will be fulfilling.

2. "Perseverance is a great element of success; if you only knock long enough and loud enough at the gate you are sure to wake up somebody.” – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Sometimes people are awarded simply for being annoying and persistent. Think about it. When someone asks for something, no is peoples way of saying go away and don't come back.

When we see the same person come back time and time again we start to wonder why they won't go away.

Bob Goff got into law school this way. He sat on a bench outside of the dean's office for a week begging to get in.

After a week the dean could not believe he was still there and told him to go and get his books. Just kept knocking loudly and eventually he was let in. Never lose hope.

3. "The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don’t define them, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them.” – Denis Waitley

You have to decide where you are going. Most people have a wish but they don't have definite destinations. Their dream is not even worth working towards because there is no chance they can ever be that successful right?

Don't let this be you! Decide what you want and focus on it each and every day. Get an inch closer by the day. You have to know where you are going and be sure that you will eventually get there.

4. “You’ve got to get up every morning with determination if you’re going to go to bed with satisfaction.” – George Lorimer

Are you determined to succeed? You need to be if you want to be a winner. Only those who get up hungry get things done. You should go to bed exhausted from chasing your dream. Never lose hope because you are not hungry enough.

5. “All you can change is yourself, but sometimes that changes everything!” – Gary W Goldstein

How do you change yourself? You have to change your habits. Change what you do every single day of your life. When you change what you do daily, you change your life.

Stop focusing on the results and focus on the day to day process. If the result is not what you want, then change the process. Never lose hope in your daily habits because they always pay off.

6. "Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go" - William Feather

Are you going to be one of the people who hold on or one of the people who lets go? The people who let go often go on to regret their choice.

7. “If you want the light to come into your life, you need to stand where it is shining.” – Guy Finley

Sometimes success is just a matter of moving your butt. Too many people will stand in the same place as if they are a tree.

One of the advantages of being a human is that you can move around and find the light. Trees cannot so they try and bend towards the best light.

8. “Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work which you already did." -Unknown

There is always a point on the path to success where you wonder if the hard work is paying off. That is a good point to get to because it means you are getting closer.

You will want to quit because it will seem like the hard work is not adding up at all. When you get tired of working, buckle down and work even harder. There are countless stories of successful entrepreneurs that understood this.

9. “Most people give up just when they’re about to achieve success. They quit on the one-yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game, one foot from a winning touchdown.” – H. Ross Perot

You are closer than you can imagine. Don't stop now!
