The one thing life guarantees us all is death. It can be hard to wake up every day and work towards anything, knowing that its all essentially for nothing. Why care about anything or place your hope in anyone when it can all be over in a flash? Death comes with no warning, and it leaves you asking, "what's the point of life?"

The point of life can feel so elusive. As you get older, the things that matter to you can begin to change, and it can almost make the last decade of your life seem pointless. How do you make sure that moving forward, you are only chasing things that matter? According to Scooter, it takes hard work and patience to grow a brand and dominate the market. He says that he did not become one of the best talent managers in the USA overnight. He had to work for several years and build his brand. However, he eventually made, and today he enjoys the fruits of his hard work.

The problem with some people is that they want to achieve lifetime success overnight. As a result, they go for short-term gains and fade away after some time. Remember that you are not the only person in the market. Thus, you should start by marketing yourself or your products to potential clients to have a steady revenue flow in the future. Once you have built your brand, you never struggle to look for customers because they come for you.

What You Will Learn From This Article

What is The Point of Life?

Even if you believe in God and know that you're going to heaven afterward, there is still a huge problem. That problem is, what do you do with this life? If heaven is the best place, how do you operate day to day in such a broken world?

You are here for a reason, but it's not always easy to figure out what that reason. One of the most fulfilling things you can do is figure out what you believe and then get other people to believe the same thing.

In the Christian faith, this is called evangelizing or sharing the gospel. Maybe you develop a philosophy about winning and playing basketball like Michael Jordan and spending your life spreading and teaching that. You need something you believe in so much that you want to share it with the world.

All you know for sure is the moment. The past is gone, and you don't know what the future entails, but you have this moment. You have the very second right in front of you that you can use to choose a direction.

Other people are going to have different ways of responding to this question. This question is not about them. It's about you because you can't just steal another person's purpose and make it yours. You have to figure out what is for you.

  • Stay in the moment
  • Believe in something so much that you want to tell other people
  • Everyone has a different response to this question

A strong word of caution. Many people who suffer from depression and suicidal thoughts struggle with this very question. It's ok to ask, "What is the point of life?" Problems begin when they search for that answer turns into despair. The second you lose hope, you give in to this question, and you answer that it's all pointless.

Understandably, you may not have found your purpose, but never believe that one is not out there for you. Everything happens in its timing, but God is always on time with these matters. Some people change the world at a young age, and others don't get started until they are much older, but that does not mean that their roles do not matter.

The world needs what you have to offer!
You were made with a specific purpose in mind, and that's what you are the way you are.

  • When you feel there is no point to living you give into despair
  • Just becaue you have not found meaning does not mean you won't
  • You have a spceific purpose

8 Ways to Find Meaning

1. Change Your Inner Circle

It's hard to find meaning in life when you're hanging around clowns. You have to change the people who are influencing you. When you spend time with a person, everything they do rubs off on you.

Hang out with some people who are doing what you want to do at a high level. Don't know what you want? Find people who understand what the meaning in life is, you will hate being the only one in the crew who doesn't know.

2. Believe in Something Bigger Than This World

Countless people find meaning in this world through religion. There is a reason that billion of people find their hope in God. It helps you to answer the question of what happens after we die and why we are even here.

I have found this very hope in Jesus Christ. Nothing is above it, and no situation is too big for my joy and hope in him to be taken away. Its a great feeling and one that is available for anyone to accept.

3. Answer The Call of Your Burden

Everyone has something they care about, and they are not sure why. It could be a love for animals, a body of oppressed people, or even homeless people. There is no limit to who you can have a burden. The problem is that most people don't act on their burdens out of fear.

If you care for a group of people, the best thing you can do is pursue that. It may be scary. You may wish some days were easier... but it will be worth every last second of your life.

4. Act On What You Know You Should

Besides having a burden, some people know they have a business in them or a skill they should have been working on. Don't be like most people who take all of their great ideas to the grave with them. Act on your visions and let the world benefit from your skills.

5. Stop Quitting too Fast

When you do take action, stop expecting microwave success. There are no shortcuts. There is not an easy path. The best way to get to what you want is to take the stairs and endure the beating required to succeed.

The weak people quit at the first sign of trouble, and they leave all the good rewards for the people who know how to stick it out. Don't start anything that you're not willing to put a decade of your life into.

6. Get Really Good at One Skill

Too many people get caught in wanting the rewards of life without first focusing on the work you must put in. Its a trap, don't fall for it! The best way to get to everything you want is to get really good at something.

You have to get so good at your skills that it becomes impossible for people to ignore you. Your work is so exceptional that people have to work with you. If you can get to this point, you will find purpose

7. Focus Inward

This is not a time to be worried about what other people want or have to say. Instead, focus inward and find what drives you intrinsically. It is not about what mom wants anymore. No more of that! Its time for you figures out what you want most.

When you're intrinsically motivated, you hustle because you love it. You're not chasing trophies, sex, or grades. Your drive is purely from within and not an external result. That is a true joy!

8. Work From Area of Strengths

Work only from areas that you know you thrive in. This is not the time to work on your weaknesses. When you are on your way to being an expert, you can do that. For now, you just need momentum. Small wins will go a long way early on.

Signs Your Not Living On Purpose

Watch out for the following red flags. If you're are consistently struggling in one or multiple of these areas, its time to make a change. You don't have to make a significant change, but make small ones that start to point you in the right direction.

1. Its Hard to Wake Up

If you're having a harder time getting up than normal, it could be because of a lack of purpose. When you know what you want from life, it energizes you so much that you shoot out of bed. The pain of not working towards those goals is much worse than the pain of being tired.

2. You Have No Motivation

When you lack motivation, it means that you can't consistently move forward. You spend a lot of time playing video games, watching TV and wasting time. You will do anything to avoid real work because you're not motivated to do it. People who live life on purpose never consistently fall into this type of behavior.

3. The People Around You Are Not Winners

Winners win, and losers lose! If you hang around people who only know how to lose, those losing ways will rub off. Even successful people know that they have to keep the losers out of their circle.

4. You Hate Your Job

Hating your job is a massive problem because most people spend a third of their day working. If you hate a third of your life, it's going to rub off on everything you do. Before you know it, you will be depressed and in a bad place. Either find a way to love your work, or switch jobs as fast as you can.

5.  You Spend No Time on Self Growth

If you're not growing, you're getting left behind.

It's simple! If you plan to be successful, you need to be improving your skills. You need to be a learning machine. Your obsession with getting better should help you make fewer mistakes and more money.

6. You Lack Any Goals

No goals, no direction. You would never leave the house and try and use GPS to get to an unknown destination. Step one is always to figure out the destination, and the same is true in life. When you don't have goals, it means serious regret is knocking on your door.

So What is the Point of Life?

The point of life is to figure out why you hear and then spend the rest of your life fulfilling that purpose. Never give up when you're on this path. Everything you want requires that you keep moving forward, and you walk through that fire.
