What's your mission, your purpose, and the thing that gets you up in the morning? That is the end goal, and you should not take your eyes off it for even one second. Successful people review their goals and their mission daily. They know how important it is to remind themselves of their direction. Do you review your end goal daily? Understanding The End Goal

The end goal is also your mission. The best way to think of it is the thing you want to say you did when you are 90 years old and on your death bed. Jeff Bezos, for example, has a goal of selling everything to everyone in the world. That is a massive goal, and it is tough to do.

The end goal will take a long time to catch. It is the massive goal you have that gives fuel and purpose to your entire life. If someone wants to eradicate poverty in the world, for example, that is a massive task. You know it is significant, so every day it inspires you to keep working.

Mark Zuckerburg wants to connect the world. Again, another massive goal that is impossible to 100% accomplishes or prove. Regardless, it is the size of his purpose that drives him forward. He knows every morning when he wakes up that there are people that need connecting.

Why You Need to Keep The End Goal Top of Mind

The first key to success that you must lock-in is to review your mission and your end goal daily. The reason you want to do this is to remember why you are doing this. You may have to fill out some tough paperwork that you don't want or work when you could be watching TV. When you see your why and remember the massive end goal that you have, it will inspire you each day.

When you have a massive why you remember that everything is not about you. A great mission is always looking to serve other people in some way. When you remember that you are here to help others, it provides purpose to everything you do. If you currently do not have a mission, this can be a game changer for your life.

Life With No Mission

Think about the people in your life that have direction and the ones that don't. College campuses today have too many students who have no idea what they want or what they are going to do. They have no significant purpose for driving them. To wish to graduate is not a mission; it is a task you may need to get by to get to your mission.

The worst thing about drifting is that you don't take charge of your life. You sit back and let life happen to you and hope for the best. When you have no goal, you have nothing to expect, so you are happy to take anything. Without couple goals for example, you are willing to tolerate anything in your relationship as long as you stay together. 

How to Make Your End Goal a Reality

You have your mission locked in. There are two steps that you need to follow next. You need first to set goals that will help you to meet your purpose. Think of it like this, if you have a goal that will take up the next 50 years of your life. Where do you need to be in

6 months

The great thing about doing this is that you can always know if your mission is behind or on track. If you are behind, you can put the extra energy into catching up. You have to act early! If you get further behind for the next 20 years, it might feel like an unattainable goal.

The second thing is setting habits that support your goals. Anyone and everyone can set a goal and tuck it away in some book they never look again. What separates the greats from the amateurs is the fact that the greats get it done DAILY. Anyone good at something knows that they must do it daily. It's not a part-time job, it's an everyday job, whether you want to or not.

Your life will not change until you change something you do daily. Anyone can get something done once, but can you show up every day and put that work in? Habits often sneak by us because we don't notice the difference they make for years in most cases. Most people quit their habits because they can't see the results right away.

You do not need to be a rocket scientist to figure out what habits will help you a lot. For example, working out helps you think better, and feel better.. If you want to be a musician, one of your most important habits is playing on your instrument daily. You can't be great always finding excuses to skip days.
